NASA is testing a 3D printer that uses moon dust to print in space

As part of the Artemis plan to return to the moon, new technologies are being tested including the possibility of building on the moon using 3-D printing and moon regolith (the moon's dusty soil). Check out this article on the upcoming test of the printer on the International Space station.

The Redwire Regolith Print facility suite, consisting of Redwire’s Additive Manufacturing Facility and the print heads, plates, and lunar regolith simulant feedstock that launches to the International Space Station.
